This compact yet captivating fluorite specimen from the Yindu Mine is a collector’s delight. Measuring just 1 inch across, it features sharply defined violet fluorite cubes intergrown with delicate beige barite blades. Despite its size, this piece carries all the signature character of Yindu material—clarity, zoning, and UV-reactivity.
Perfect for grid work, travel altars, or miniature display shelves, this piece offers a powerful combination of geological and metaphysical appeal in a truly pocket-sized form.
The specimen is composed of fluorite (CaF₂), a halide mineral crystallizing in the isometric crystal system, accompanied by barite (BaSO₄), which typically forms in tabular or bladed orthorhombic crystals. Both minerals are commonly found in hydrothermal vein deposits.
Yindu Mine is known for producing high-quality fluorite with rich zoning and distinct fluorescence. The barite association adds a visual and mineralogical bonus, as not all fluorites from this region exhibit accessory mineral growth.
Deep violet tones radiate from the core of the fluorite, while translucent edges allow light to pass through in layers. The barite crystals accent the fluorite with their soft contrast, forming sculptural edges along one face. Under UV light, the piece exhibits a striking bluish-purple glow.
Its clean, angular form and bright fluorescence make this piece especially photogenic and suited for small-space displays.
Fluorite is considered a master healer and aura cleanser, supporting focus, mental clarity, and energetic balance. Barite, meanwhile, is believed to promote grounding and spiritual insight, often used in meditation and dream work.
Together, these minerals form a synergistic tool for both spiritual practice and emotional clarity, especially in compact altar or travel settings.
While Yindu fluorite is already prized for its intense color and UV reaction, finding it with intact barite blades is less common—especially in such a small, damage-free piece. This specimen is both a visual gem and a rare mineralogical combination.
This tiny powerhouse delivers the energy and aesthetic of larger Yindu fluorites in a form you can easily carry, display, or gift. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting your journey, this barite-accented piece brings elegance and intention into a small footprint.
Miniature specimens with this level of quality and intact barite associations from the Yindu Mine are increasingly uncommon. This piece offers excellent value and collector interest in a size perfect for curated trays or metaphysical toolkits.
Best showcased under UV light or in a clear glass dome. Ideal for shelf display, travel kits, or as a unique gift for crystal enthusiasts.
